ABOUT Nefertiti neck lift
wHAT IT IS
Over time the strong muscles in our neck and jaw pull on our face tissue and musculature. This can cause us to appear aged, strained, or unhappy. This pull can also accentuate the marionette lines (from the corners of the mouth down) and nasolabial folds (from nose edges to corner of mouth).
The Nefertiti neck lift is a non-surgical, non-filler option to help release the pull and help relieve concerns in the lower face.
Neurotoxin is used to inject areas of pull and tension in the face and lower jaw. These include the depressor anguli oris (DAO) muscle, which pulls down the mouth corners, the chin, the platysmal bands (the thick lines of muscle that pop out in your neck), and sometimes the masseters muscles which are the ones that help you chew. This allows the wrinkles to soften and prevents new wrinkles from forming while allowing the mouth corners to be released from the downward pull.
How it works
Treatment is quick & can typically be completed with a handful of tiny injections in less than 30 minutes. Noticeable results can generally be observed 5-7 days after treatment, with full results visible 14 days post treatment.

It depends on several factors including: which area(s) you are trying to treat (DAO, massetters, platysmal bands) the strength of your facial muscles, and how deep your existing lines are. We recommend a complimentary consultation with our nurse injector to create a plan that is right for you.

Most clients say it feels like a tiny pinch. The needle is quite small, goes in smoothly, and the neurotoxin is injected quickly. All of this results in minimal pain. No numbing agents are used for this treatment.
Pain management is very important to me, so I use needles and techniques to lessen pain as much as possible and I'm always learning new ones! -
There’s virtually zero downtime with these treatments. Neurotoxins are often referred to as a “lunchtime procedure,” since most patients return directly to work or normal activity immediately. Some redness and swelling may occur at the injection sites, but it usually subsides within a few hours. Very rarely, patients may experience minor bruising.

Results last around 3-6 months, depending on the location of the treatment, your muscle activity, your body’s individual response and product used.

While Botox®, JEUVEAU®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are all neurotoxin injectables used to treat and prevent wrinkles, their chemical compositions slightly differ. Your nurse injector will educate you on the differences & allow you to choose which product you’d prefer to use.

Neurotoxin injections are very common, low risk procedures. Headaches, minor bruising, and swelling at the injection site are the most reported side effects, although are quite rare. As with any treatment there are always risks, however, your nurse injector will cover all bases prior to treatment.
